If you cannot see the image, check a couple of things:

• Confirm the name of the picture file is correctly written in the link
• Check the name of the "images" folder is correct (i.e. not "image")
• Make sure all your tags and brackets are both opened and closed (it's easy to leave out the last quote for instance)
• Make sure you saved the HTML file before you tried to preview it
• Try clicking the "Reload" or "Refresh" button in your browser

If you have chosen a photo of your own, particularly if it is from a digital camera, you may find that the picture is too big for the browser window. You will need to use image editing software (e.g. Photoshop) to reduce the picture in size before putting it on your web page. Most computers have basic editing software installed with the system or you could try searching the web for free or shareware image editing software such as Irfanview (www.irfanview.com)
