If you look carefully through the source code, you can see some normal text surrounded by HTML tags. Pictures or images (such as a logo) are referred to in HTML and appear in the browser. Don't worry if this looks like a foreign language - in many ways it is! As you practise you will become more familiar with HTML.

You may have found tags such as the following:

• <p> - paragraph
• <table> - starts a table
• <tr> - table row
• <td> - table data - refers to a single table cell
• <b> - bold
• <a href…> - links
• <img src...> - links to images
